Compared to all-around boards, racing boards are usually longer, narrower and have pointed heads, and some also have displacement hulls for more efficient water cutting, resulting in a faster ride.

 

Since the racing boards are narrow, they are not very stable, but they glide through the water better than other paddle boards.

 

Paddle boarding competitions are divided into two categories: short course race length of 12'6'' and below, long distance race length of 14', average width: width 24''-27''.
